We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager / Supplier Liaison to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market dynamics in our industry and a proven track record in establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring the highest quality of service from our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets within the construction industry

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms

• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for market penetration

• Monitor and report on the performance of suppliers and ensure compliance with company standards

• Develop and maintain a supplier database and manage supplier performance evaluations

• Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Supplier Liaison, or in a similar role within the construction industry

• Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

• Willingness to travel as needed
