Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Gardener / General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised work environment in all areas of the company. The Gardener / General Maintenance Worker will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all facilities are kept clean and tidy.

Responsibilities:

Empty trash and recycling bins
Restock supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
Respond to Maintenance requests
Support Staff stores and deliveries

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment
Flexibility to work weekends as needed

To be successful in the role of Cleaner you will have:

Current Police Check, or acknowledge that a police clearance will need to be obtained

Current Flu Vaccination 2023

Have a passion for Aged Care

Have a professional manner and great attitude

Compliance to OHS and Aged Care legislation

Enjoy working in a team environment and can prioritize workload

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Computer literacy

Evidence of right to work in Australia
