Firemex Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer fire doors and fire rated products. We have been servicing the fire and building industry for over 30 years and employ approx 55 staff. Job locations range throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, Northern NSW, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay-Burnett Region.

We are looking for a Delivery Driver/Storeman to join our team. The position can be offered as casual or full time for the right candidate with a can-do attitude.

Key aspects of this role:

Deliver doors & frames to building sites throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast & Toowoomba
Driving new Isuzu truck - 4.5T GVM
Hand unloading on building sites may be required occasionally
Packing doors for dispatch to avoid damage in transit may be required
Relief of other storeman position when required
Assist in getting doors/frames/materials out for onsite team
Early starts for loading of truck and delivery schedules
Housekeeping of warehouse/dispatch area's
Liaise professionally with transport companies, suppliers, and clients
Ensure all equipment including Firemex vehicles are kept in a clean, tidy, and serviceable condition
Other tasks as required in logistics/warehousing/dispatch/receiving

The successful applicant:

Australian & Manual Drivers Licence
Forklift ticket desirable
Must be reliable and punctual
Physical job with hand unloading required
Be able to work under instruction and be self-motivated to work independently & in a team

Full time position plus overtime when required.
