The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Architectural & Commercial Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key industry professionals, selling decorative, functional, and architectural lighting solutions into commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with architects and designers from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless client experience while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Client Management – Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, and contractors to identify business opportunities.

• Project Management – Oversee lighting projects from design through to completion, ensuring successful delivery.

• Tailored Solutions – Provide custom lighting solutions that align with project requirements and client needs.

• Industry Engagement – Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments to maintain a competitive advantage.

• Sales & Reporting – Track and report on KPIs, sales targets, client interactions, and project progress using CRM tools.

About You

• Experience & Expertise – Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or account management within the lighting, architecture, design, or construction industry.

• Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of commercial lighting solutions and ability to provide tailored recommendations.

• Relationship Builder – Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships with architects and designers.

• Extensive Contacts – Well-established connections within the New South Wales architecture and design community.

• Sales & Commercial Acumen – Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and identify new business opportunities.

• Communication & Presentation Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present solutions and negotiate effectively.

• CRM & Technology Proficiency – Experience using CRM systems for managing sales pipelines and client interactions.
