The Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time, fixed-term parental leave cover. This hybrid role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a purpose driven, global organisation.

In this role, you will support financial management and reporting across the Beamtree Group. You will ensure financial policies, controls, and systems are effectively implemented and maintained, while also contributing to transactional and audit functions.

The Role in Practice

As a Senior Accountant at Beamtree, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily financial operations including invoicing, debt collection, supplier payments, and other transactions

• Preparing monthly management reports and assisting in half-yearly and annual financial reporting

• Leading the group’s half year external audit process

• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the Business Manager

• Monitoring and forecasting cash flow and managing cost control

• Overseeing tax compliance including BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and income tax return preparation

• Supporting R&D grant applications

• Processing payroll and lodging superannuation payments for the group

• Providing insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership to support decision-making

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory financial regulations

• Establishing and maintaining internal financial policies and procedures

• Mentoring and supporting the Junior Accountant

Who you are

We’re looking for a CPA or CA qualified professional with 3+ years' experience in an Accountant or Group Accountant role, ideally within an ASX-listed company.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, commercial awareness, and proven ability to meet deadlines.

A sound understanding of accounting standards, statutory legislation, and regulations is essential.
