About Milwillah

Milwillah is a progressive, family-owned mixed farming enterprise operating across New South Wales and Queensland. With a strong commitment to productivity, innovation, and animal welfare, Milwillah manages over 88,000 hectares of diversified agricultural land.

Our operations include:

• Commercial-scale Angus and Ultrablack cattle breeding and backgrounding
• Merino wool and prime lamb production
• Irrigated cotton and fodder cropping

Milwillah runs:

• 10,000 Angus cows and followers
• A combined flock of 40,000 ewes (primarily Merino and Dorper breeds)
• 1,500 hectares of irrigation, including both bankless channel and spray systems
• 750 hectares of irrigated cotton

Each year, the business markets 1,200 bulls and a large number of steers, with a focus on genetic improvement, performance, and consistency. Milwillah integrates reproductive technologies such as artificial insemination (3,000–3,500 head/year) and embryo transfer/IVF (1,200 implants/year) to drive herd performance.

We also use specialist livestock software to monitor and manage all aspects of animal health and performance, including weights, treatments, joinings, and mob movements.
