About the role

Our design and drafting personnel are crucial to our new home delivery experience! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team. Responsible for producing and amending housing documentation to deliver plans that meet our client and customer expectations. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Create technical drawings and plans using drafting software.
  • Accurately draft, amend, review and check plans within agreed timeframes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
  • Research building material and detailing solutions.
  • Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prioritise and schedule work to ensure deadlines are met.

About you

You are an experienced, motivated Draftsperson with an eye for detail and a collaborative approach. Experience is necessary to hit the ground running in this role! The right candidate for this position will have:

  • 3-5 years’ drafting experience within the residential housing and construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Significant knowledge of the Building Code of Australia along with other relevant Australian building standards and planning codes.
  • Proven ability to provide high quality architectural working drawings within KPI defined timeframes.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage time and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
  • High proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit or AutoCAD software platforms.
