NORSTA North are offering fantastic traineeships designed to provide valuable hands-on experience and a Certificate IV qualification in a range of areas applicable to the roles offered including:
- Project Managment
- Health and Safety
- Business

WHO WE ARE
Norsta North – located in Darwin – is a wholly owned subsidiary of NORSTA Maritime Pty Ltd, an Australian company. NORSTA operates in North-Eastern Australia and Northern Australia as the Royal Australian Navy’s Regional Maintenance Provider (RMP).
Our mission is to provide essential maintenance and sustainment services for naval vessels in the region.

TRAINEESHIP AREAS
Industry Engagement
- Leading and coordinating projects and events
- Develop and maintain stakeholder partnerships
- Manage long term projects and short-term initiatives
- Develop skills in enterprise and industry engagement and development.
Health and Safety
- Contribute to creating a safe and healthy workplace on maritime vessels and facilities
- Learn about risk assessment, safety audits, and compliance with maritime safety regulations.
- Develop skills in safety management systems and incident response.
Scheduling
- Assist updating work schedules and plans.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and record keeping.
- Support tracking progress to help ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders to share schedule information.
- Help maintain schedules for maintenance and service delivery activities.

SECURITY ACCESS/CLEARANCE
As a condition of this role, you must be able to obtain (and hold) Baseline Defence security clearance, which requires Australian Citizenship. A National Police Check will also be undertaken.
