We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our talented legal team across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. We offer flexibility, and are open to both full-time and part-time applicants for this position.
About the role:
Our Paralegal will be an integral part of our team and will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services and smooth transaction processes to our clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing commercial legal documentation, including term sheets, business and share sale agreements, company secretarial documents, real property leases and other commercial agreements.
- Supporting legal practitioners in business and share sale transactions, including due diligence, contract formation and execution, and coordination of completion actions.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of firm templates and legal precedents.
- Managing commercial transaction workflows, key dates and external stakeholder engagement.
- Conducting legal research and analysis relevant to corporate and commercial law matters.
- Coordinating documentation and workflow for various commercial transactions.
- Maintaining accurate and compliant file records in line with firm procedures and policies.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely outcomes.
About You:
We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence and attention to detail. You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Experience working as a corporate or commercial paralegal in a law firm.
- Proven experience assisting in business and asset sale transactions.
- Strong working knowledge of leases and lease assignment/transfer documentation.
- Familiarity with drafting or reviewing standard commercial agreements (e.g. supply agreements, services contracts, confidentiality documents, T&Cs, shareholders agreements etc).
- Experience developing and maintaining templates and precedents.
- An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, including using styles, templates and cross referencing.
- Experience using legal software and document management systems.
