We all know how valuable feedback is in the workplace. When delivered well, it can be extremely effective for professional development. Not only does it assist in coaching, inspiring and transforming your team, they are 3x more likely to be engaged than those who receive feedback once a year or less. In the modern workplace, giving feedback is not just a ‘nice to have’, it’s now a necessity.
That’s why we’re so excited to announce that the highly requested 360 Degree Feedback feature is now available to customers on the Employment Hero Platinum HR plan. Before we dive in, we’ll give you a rundown of what 360 degree reviews are and how they work.
As the name suggests, 360 degree feedback compiles feedback from a range of different people in the business. Along with the traditional top-down manager feedback, 360 degree feedback also comes from direct reports and colleagues. Put simply, it’s designed to give employees a more rounded view of their professional development, allowing feedback to come from others outside their direct reporting line.
If you’re looking for a structured way to implement 360-degree feedback, our free 360 degree feedback template for managers can help you get started. The best part about this blog is that once you’ve finished reading about this new feature release, you can log in to your Employment Hero account and put all your learnings into practice.
