ER Doctor – Expression of Interest – Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room (ER) Doctor to join our medical team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position is vital for ensuring timely and effective treatment, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical attention to patients in emergency situations.
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of patients’ conditions.
• Administer appropriate treatments and medications as required.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with the latest medical practices.
• Assist in the management of the emergency department, including supervising junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
• At least 3 years of experience in emergency medicine or a related field.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• ACLS & ATLS valid Certifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
