We’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and organised Grotto Supervisor to join our festive team at Dean’s York Garden Centre. Working alongside the Grotto Manager, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day running of our Christmas experience, ensuring every family leaves with smiles, festive memories and a touch of Christmas magic.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing

🎅 Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Grotto

🧝 Leading and encouraging a team of Grotto Assistants and Elves

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Welcoming families and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience

⏰ Helping manage queue lines, booking times and visitor flow

📋 Carrying out daily checks to ensure all areas are safe, clean and ready to welcome guests

😊 Handling guest queries and resolving any issues in a friendly and professional manner

☕ Supporting with team organisation, breaks and daily duties

🌟 Maintaining high standards throughout the Grotto experience

🎄 Taking responsibility for leading the operation when the Grotto Manager is unavailable

🤝 Working closely with colleagues across the Garden Centre to deliver a seamless festive experience

🎄 Has previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or customer-facing role

🎄 Leads by example and enjoys motivating others

🎄 Is organised and able to juggle multiple priorities

🎄 Remains calm and positive in a fast-paced environment

🎄 Loves delivering outstanding customer service
