Senior Construction Manager – Ambit – Poultry

Summary:

As a Senior Construction Manager at Ambit, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects within the retrofit industry. Based in London Bridge, this permanent, full-time position requires a seasoned professional who can ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our operations and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise efficiency.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably within the poultry or agricultural sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
