Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous Document Controller to join our dynamic team in the Building & Construction industry in Bristol. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the effective management and organisation of project documentation, contributing to the overall success of our projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance and facilitating communication across various teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Implement and uphold document control procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate the distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for project meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Support project teams in document retrieval and management.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure integrity and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to team members on document control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role within the Building & Construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of document management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A relevant qualification in construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
