Field Service Technician

As we continue to grow our brand worldwide, we’re looking for a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and technical support to customers across the globe.

This is an exciting role for an experienced engineer who enjoys working with complex automated systems, thrives in a customer-facing environment, and is comfortable with regular travel throughout the UK, Europe and afar.

Responsibilities include:

• Servicing, maintaining, installing, and commissioning industrial systems and OEM equipment internationally.
• Providing remote technical support via phone and email
• Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics, testing and inspections
• Building electrical and mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings
• Participating in scheduled weekend support when required

What We’re Looking For

• You’ll be an experienced engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, comfortable working independently and representing the company on customer sites.
• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or Service Engineer/ Technician
• Strong electrical control diagnostics skills
• Experience working with OEM machinery.
• Competent in Microsoft Office
• PLC and computer-based diagnostics and robot programming (desirable)

What You’ll Need

• City & Guilds electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
• ONC in an electrical or mechanical discipline (desirable).
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK driving licence and a valid passport.
