Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team at the Yurt cafe in Limehouse, SouthEast E14. This temporary role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality and catering industry. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas
• Oversee coffee machine settings and perform routine maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to enhance their experience
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Assist in managing inventory and restocking supplies as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Barista experience preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates
• Experience in front of house roles is advantageous
• Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance is a plus
