Role Type
Description
Are you an experienced IT leader who thrives on simplifying complexity, challenging the status quo and bringing together technology across a global business?
TGI Sport is on an ambitious transformation journey. Through our One TGI programme, we’re bringing together multiple businesses, systems and ways of working into one globally connected organisation. Our IT environment has evolved regionally, with different managed service providers, technology platforms and processes. Your role will be to simplify this complexity and establish a consistent global approach.
You’ll lead corporate IT across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia, with responsibility for infrastructure, service delivery, external technology partners and IT expenditure.
You’ll also play a central role in our One TGI Digital Workspace programme, including the move towards a unified global Microsoft 365 environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring genuine technical expertise alongside strong commercial judgement. You’ll be equally comfortable challenging a managed service provider on an infrastructure issue, negotiating a global contract and advising senior leaders on technology decisions.
If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity, taking ownership and delivering meaningful change across an international business, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact.
Your Mission
- Lead our global corporate IT function, establishing consistent service standards, processes and accountability across all regions.
- Manage our global IT providers, driving service performance, supplier consolidation and sustainable cost efficiencies through better contracts, procurement and licensing.
- Lead our One TGI Digital Workspace programme, including Microsoft 365 consolidation, global hardware and software management, and employee adoption.
- Own our corporate IT infrastructure, including identity and access management, networking, endpoints, servers and cloud environments, ensuring security, resilience and compliance.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to simplify our enterprise applications, improve systems integration and support the introduction of new platforms.
- Drive the responsible adoption of enterprise AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude Enterprise, with appropriate governance and training.
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Proven experience leading corporate IT across an international, multi-site business, ideally working with outsourced IT providers rather than a large internal team.

- Significant experience managing managed service providers, including service delivery, SLAs, contracts, supplier performance and commercial negotiations.
- A demonstrable track record of delivering sustainable IT cost reductions through supplier consolidation, technology rationalisation and improved financial control.
- Experience leading IT infrastructure consolidation, digital workplace transformation and enterprise technology programmes, with a strong understanding of information security and governance.
- The confidence to influence senior stakeholders, make independent decisions and take accountability for global IT performance.
Desirable
- Experience within a PE-backed, acquisition-led or rapidly evolving international business.
- Experience consolidating global Microsoft 365 environments or introducing enterprise AI tools.
- Background in technology, SaaS, media, advertising or sports.
