Cleaning Operatives – School, Hucknall

Hucknall, NG15 6AJ | £12.71 per hour | 15 hours per week | Term Time

We’re looking for 2 reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operatives to join our team at a friendly infant school in Hucknall. The positions will start from 2nd November.

This is a straightforward, hands-on role that’s ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being active. There’s no desk, no emails and nothing to take home at the end of the day — simply complete your shift, leave the site clean and tidy, and switch off.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday
3:30pm – 6:30pm
Term time
15 hours per week
An additional 3 weeks of deep cleaning will be required during school holidays

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the school, including:

Completing daily cleaning tasks across the school
Cleaning classrooms, communal areas and facilities
Following the school’s cleaning schedule and procedures
Ensuring areas are left clean, safe and ready for the following day
Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns to management
Working safely and following COSHH and company procedures

What We’re Looking For

Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Able to travel to Hucknall, NG15 6AJ
Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not essential
Knowledge of COSHH preferred, but not essential
Able to provide at least one previous employment reference
An Enhanced DBS check is required — we will arrange this for you
