The fine print:
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Role: Permanent full time
Working days: Monday to Friday
Location: London area, commutable to the Covent Garden office
Portfolio Required: Candidates must submit a clickable portfolio, website or accessible folder link as part of their application.
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. Your portfolio must include examples of short-form commercial copy such as website content, landing pages, Amazon or marketplace listings, brochures, leaflets, POS materials, product marketing content or similar customer-facing assets.
This is first and foremost a writing role. While you’ll manage stakeholder relationships and content projects, we’re looking for someone who enjoys creating content themselves rather than overseeing the work of others.
You’ll spend the majority of your time writing, editing and refining content across digital and offline channels, with a particular focus on creating concise, customer-facing, conversion-focused copy. Experience producing short-form commercial content such as website pages, landing pages, Amazon listings, brochures, leaflets, retail marketing materials and product content is essential.
🌟 About the Role
We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager who thrives on creating high-quality content across multiple channels and audiences.
This is a hands-on writing role for someone who can confidently switch between website copy, landing pages, Amazon and marketplace listings, product marketing content, campaign messaging, partner content, leaflets, brochures, retail marketing materials and event collateral. You’ll be comfortable distilling complex information into clear, concise and commercially effective copy that drives engagement and action.
You’ll understand that writing for a website isn’t the same as writing for a brochure, a retail display, an Amazon listing or an event activation.
You’ll work closely with marketing, design, product and commercial stakeholders, managing content projects from brief through to delivery while ensuring every piece of content is clear, engaging and fit for purpose.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating concise, high-impact short-form copy that drives customer engagement, supports conversion and communicates key messages clearly across multiple channels.
- Writing and editing content across digital and offline channels.
- Creating website copy, landing pages, e-commerce content and marketplace listings.
- Producing engaging offline content including retail marketing materials, brochures, event collateral, POS materials and promotional assets.
- Applying SEO best practice and conversion-focused writing techniques to digital content.
- Translating product information into clear, benefit-led messaging for different audiences.
- Managing content projects from briefing through to approval and delivery.
- Building strong relationships across marketing, product, design and commercial teams.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure messaging remains consistent and on brand.
- Supporting content creation for events, trade shows, partner campaigns and retail activations.
- Creating content toolkits, messaging frameworks and reusable resources for internal teams and external partners.
- Monitoring content performance and using insight to optimise future content.
📈 What Success Looks Like
- Content is delivered on time with minimal rework.
- Messaging is clear, engaging and tailored to the audience and channel.
- Website, e-commerce and marketplace content supports customer engagement and conversion.
- Offline marketing materials effectively communicate key product and brand messages.
- Stakeholders trust you to manage projects and keep delivery on track.
- Content frameworks and resources help teams work more efficiently.
- You quickly become a trusted content expert within the team.
