Registered Nurse
Outpatients | One Hatfield Hospital | 37.5 hours per week | Mondays-Fridays with occasional Saturdays
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our outpatient team at One Hatfield Hospital, part of Phoenix Hospital Group. This permanent, full-time position is and exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, individualised patient care and providing an excellent patient experience within a private healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring a safe and supportive environment, contributing to the overall success of our medical facility. They will work closely with patients, consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team, assessing patients’ needs and ensuring that patients feel safe, supported and well cared for throughout their visit.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to outpatient patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Participate in the training and mentoring of junior nursing staff and students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursing role, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Phlebotomy and ECG experience.
- Experience in wound care.
- Experience in minor procedures.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
