Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects in Leeds, Yorkshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all site activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards. This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality building projects while leading a team of skilled professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily site operations and manage on-site personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress updates.
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment are available and in good condition for the work being performed.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, providing input on resource allocation and timelines.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement among site staff, conducting training sessions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the building and construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
