Description

Summary:

We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team and help create a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our residents.

This varied, hands-on role combines both housekeeping and maintenance responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in high standards and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

No two days are the same. You may be preparing rooms for new arrivals, carrying out minor repairs, completing health and safety checks, maintaining communal areas or supporting the wider team during busy operational periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property
  • Assisting with room inspections and room turnaround activities
  • Carrying out minor maintenance repairs and decorating tasks
  • Responding to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Supporting health and safety checks and compliance activities
  • Ensuring communal areas, external spaces and grounds remain clean, safe and presentable
  • Monitoring supplies and reporting any stock requirements
  • Working alongside contractors and supporting planned maintenance works
  • Providing a friendly and professional service to residents and visitors
