About Us
ICAAL is an award-winning, AI-first digital marketing agency and Google Premier Partner, based in beautiful Grade 2* listed offices in Southampton’s city centre. We specialise in performance-led SEO, PPC and web experiences that generate measurable leads for installers, home-improvement brands and other growth-focused clients across the UK and internationally. Our goal is to be the AI-native lead generation partner for our clients, using tools like AEO, GEO and our proprietary AIDA platform to stay ahead of how search is changing.
We’re currently seeking a Senior SEO Executive with proven experience in optimising sites and campaigns for lead generation. You’ll work closely with the Hub Lead and Account Managers to plan, launch and optimise high-intent and SEO-friendly websites and landing pages that turn traffic into enquiries.
If you’re data-driven, comfortable in Google Analytics, and understand how to use search, copy and UX to drive form fills and phone calls, we want to hear from you. At ICAAL, you’ll be part of a supportive, ambitious team that embraces AI tools to work smarter, test faster and scale what works.
We offer a healthy work/life balance and an excellent working environment with a fantastic team of collaborative people. Our commitment to training and development – including hands-on exposure to AI-powered marketing workflows – supports your career progression and enhances job satisfaction. You’ll be joining a successful and forward-thinking company that actively invests in its people, technology and premises.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an ambitious digital marketer who cares about results more than vanity metrics. You’ll bring hands-on experience in SEO and a clear track record of using digital channels to generate leads and enquiries rather than just traffic.
Embedded in one of our Hubs within the Digital Marketing team, you’ll work on a diverse portfolio of performance-focused campaigns, using AI-powered optimisation workflows to move faster from insight to action. You’ll help turn strategy into execution: planning, building and optimising campaigns that drive high-intent traffic, form fills and phone calls.
We’re not looking for a pure “content person”, but for someone who can pair strong copy with a commercial mindset and a test-and-learn approach. You’ll write and optimise landing pages and on-site content, then use analytics to understand what’s working and iterate for better conversion.
You’ll work with AI-powered workflows, Google Analytics and our in-house toolset, learning how to structure experiments, track performance and report clearly on impact. With support from experienced Hub Leads and SEO Managers, you’ll build the foundations of a career in performance marketing and technology.
We’re searching for someone who is curious, comfortable tackling new optimisation challenges, and able to manage multiple live campaigns without dropping the ball. If you enjoy blending creativity with data and want to learn how an AI-first, Google Premier Partner agency approaches lead generation, this is the right step.
Key responsibilities
Lead-focused content and copy
- Write and optimise landing pages and on-site content designed to convert visitors into qualified enquiries.
SEO and on-site optimisation
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to plan content that targets high-intent keywords and drives organic leads.
- Optimise meta data, internal linking and on-page elements in line with ICAAL’s AEO, GEO and SEO best practices (full training provided).
- Upload and manage content in WordPress, ensuring tracking, forms and CTAs are implemented correctly.
Client communication and workflow
- Support and lead client calls where needed to report on performance, agree objectives, and capture lead-quality feedback and commercial context.
- Manage your workload across multiple accounts, keeping tasks updated and deadlines visible to the Hub.
- Work closely with the Graphics and Web teams to ensure creative, UX and copy align for maximum conversion.
Requirements
We are seeking a digitally savvy marketer with a strong interest in lead generation and performance:
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with SEO (in-house, agency or consultancy).
- Understanding of how traffic, conversion rate and cost per lead fit together in a basic funnel.
- Ability to craft clear, persuasive copy for ads, product and landing pages.
- Comfortable working with data in tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio or similar (training provided).
- Familiarity with content management systems (ideally WordPress) and on-page SEO fundamentals.
- Awareness of how AI tools can support research, ideation, content and optimisation, with a willingness to learn more.
Personal attributes
- Motivated by results, not just outputs, with an interest in testing and continual improvement.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Clear, confident communicator, comfortable working with both colleagues and clients.
- Self-driven, proactive about upskilling in SEO and AI-powered marketing.
