Digital Accountant / Senior Digital Accountant

Salary: 3,600 – 37,500 DOE

We9re looking for a driven and enthusiastic accountant who wants to be strategic, digitally savvy and hands-on with a wide range of business clients.
We use the latest and most innovative technology in the industry to automate our clients9 accounting systems, allowing us to focus on adding real value to their businesses, and enabling them to focus on their business success.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business owners to strip away their financial stress and make their lives easier.
• Deliver seamless daily bookkeeping and maintain precise digital records.
• Transform raw data into monthly management accounts that help clients to know their numbers.
• Handle year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of businesses.
• Be a friendly face and direct line of support when our clients need assistance.
• Use the latest accounting tech, including Xero, FreeAgent, Dext, QuickBooks and Sage to help clients streamline and excel.
• Help spread the word about Gravitate Accounting on various social media platforms

About You

• A natural collaborator with a positive energy that lifts the team and drives results.
• A relationship builder who earns trust quickly, with the proven ability to influence and advise both colleagues and clients.
• A cloud-accounting native, Xero Certified or equivalent, with deep understanding of the wider app ecosystem
• At least 2 years of experience within an accounting environment
• Technically sharp across management accounts, monthly reporting, and the design of slick financial processes.
• Someone committed to providing exceptional client service.
