Resident Services Assistant, Hemma Water Lane, Leeds
£30,000 per annum | 37.5 hours per week | Rota based, 5 days over 7, between 7am and 7pm
Hemma is a new UK living brand from Norway’s largest residential specialist. Our rental homes are inspired by Scandinavian design and values, and we’re building safe, inclusive and sustainable communities where residents feel at home from the moment they arrive.
We’re opening at Water Lane in Leeds and looking for a warm, quick-thinking Resident Services Assistant to join the on-site team. You’ll be the friendly face of Hemma, shaping what it feels like to live here, from a resident’s first viewing to their day-to-day life in the building.
What you’ll do
- Welcome future residents, help drive occupancy and make move-ins and move-outs smooth and memorable
- Keep the building, show apartments and shared spaces looking their best, so they’re always ready for a viewing
- Be the go-to person for residents, resolving queries quickly and handling concerns with calm and empathy
- Help build a lively resident community through events and local initiatives
- Support marketing and local engagement, building relationships with neighbours and partners
- Keep the building safe and secure for residents and colleagues
- Work closely with the General Manager, the central leasing team, maintenance and contractors on site
- Represent the Hemma brand in everything you do, including how the building looks and feels
What you’ll bring
- A genuine passion for great service and a customer-first mindset
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in residential property, build to rent, hospitality, concierge, hotels or retail
- A track record of handling queries and complaints with patience and empathy
- Confidence with Microsoft Office, plus a property management system and CRM
- Clear, warm written and spoken English, and the ability to connect with residents from all backgrounds
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Reception, concierge, parcel handling, visitor management or access control experience is a bonus, but not essential
Why join us?
This is a chance to help launch a brand from the ground up, in a role where your work is seen and felt every day. You’ll be part of a supportive on-site team, reporting to the General Manager, with real influence over the resident experience.
