Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in the Trades & Services industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This position is essential for our operations, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our services.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and machinery
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle issues and repair options
• Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are maintained

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
