Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk and enhancing the overall guest experience in our establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with reservations and provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Address guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using office software and telephone systems.
