Summary:

The Internal Sales role at our Emmer Green location is pivotal in driving sales growth within the building and construction industry. This position involves engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. As a permanent, full-time role, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to our sales team and overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide appropriate product solutions.
  • Manage and maintain customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Process sales orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing market share.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Assist in resolving customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the building and construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
