Support Worker

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide assistance and support to young people and adults in need. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional and physical support to service user in need
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help individuals with meal preparation and feeding
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Accompany individuals to appointments and activities
• Maintain accurate records of services provided
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
• Monitor and report any changes in an individual’s condition
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for individuals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
