Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Retrofit Project Manager to oversee and manage retrofit projects within the utilities sector in Preston, North West. This permanent, full-time role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and a passion for driving innovative solutions in the utilities industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage retrofit projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates and performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the utilities or construction sector, ideally with a focus on retrofit projects.
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
