Year-Long Placement Opportunities – 2027

We offer year-long placement opportunities at DSG which allows suitable students to gain insight to and experience of all aspects of our client-facing services.

Running from July 2027 – June 2028, the successful candidates will spend equal amounts of time within the following departments:

• Business Accounts & Advisory
• Tax (including Trust)
• Audit
• Payroll

Duties will be varied and depend upon which team you are working in. You will be carrying out duties of a trainee associate and will be an intrinsic member of each team and expected to contribute accordingly.

The role would suit a student working towards an accountancy or related degree.

Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes:

• Studying for an accountancy or related degree
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proven IT skills
• Organised and professional in approach to work
• Logical thinker in following through processes and problems
• Inquisitive with excellent attention to detail
• Possess a strong work ethic
