Works Manager

My client, a Network Rail principle contractor, is currently on the lookout for a Workforce/Operations Manager to support the team in Glasgow working on large scale rail projects.

The role is open on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Rostering staff, as well as observing workers’ performance
• Managing resource including when to place workers on training and on leave
• Conducting Performance Development Reviews on the team
• Acting as a mentor to the junior members as well as upskilling via courses

Requirements:

• Previous experience in rostering and the supervision of staff
• Experience in conducting PDRs
• Technical experience in OLE is desirable
