Deploy Recruit is recruiting an MEP Lead for a market leading Main Contractor known for investing in their people and offering career development on the UK’s highest-profile construction projects.

This an iconic commercial building with an estimated build value of £200m in the heart of Manchester.

The Project is a revolutionary life science building.

With a handover date of 2026, it is sure to be a stand-out project for a career-minded MEP Manager.

MEP Manager Responsibilities:

• Issue and check work packages and returns per the client’s Scope of Work.

• Review the electrical design and report any issues concerning company standards or Clients requirements.

• Coordinate with the Planning team to develop a robust, coordinated, and buildable schedule.

• Implement and update PPC (Programme & Production Control) in line with the Project requirements.

• Ensure that Electrical/Mechanical construction is delivered to the Clients and company standards in collaboration with the QA/QC team.

• Review, complete, and make available systems for commissioning

• Facilitate efficient handover of the Project with the Senior Management.

• Ensure the Project meets the business objectives of delivering projects on time and profitability to the agreed project

• Cascade all M&E changes throughout the Project

• Attend leadership meetings to discuss and implement all Project targets

• Provide weekly/monthly reports as required to Senior Management

MEP Manager:

• Possess a degree qualification in engineering and are a member of a professional body such as CIBSE or the IET.

• Or from Building Services HND-level qualifications

• A sufficient level of digital proficiency and current technologies and tools

• Capable of building long-lasting client relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be experienced in leading cohesive and motivated teams focusing on achieving project success
