Senior MEP Manager – Pre-Construction Area Lead

Job Title: Senior MEP Manager – Area Manager

Salary: £90,000 – £120,000 (including additional company benefits)

Location: Manchester

Company Description: A leading Contractor is on the search for a career focused Senior MEP Manager to become a vital Manager of their team. My client provides their services across a wide number of sectors from healthcare/pharmaceuticals to commercial and residential projects with ranging project values from £25-£80 million MEP. This is a great opportunity for an experenced MEP Manager to take lead across several projects from tender stage through to project handover.

Responsiblities:

• Take charge in the initial full MEP design & pre-construction phases.

• Ensuring correct commissioning practices

• Asses the design requirements and specifications to confirm all MEP trade packages.

• Review subcontractor submissions, prior to selection.

• Monitor the construction teams overseeing the mechanical & Electrical building services installations.

• Monitor MEP progress and processes against programme.

• Compare the MEP Processes against the current programme.

• Attend weekly design and progress meetings with relevant team members.

• Assist & manage final project handover, while also familiarising clients with MEP systems to ensure satisfied customers.

Remuneration Package:

• A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record)
