Groundworker

Summary:

We are seeking dedicated Groundworkers for rail projects in Exeter.

Responsibilities:

• Excavate and prepare sites for construction, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Install drainage systems and other underground utilities as required
• Assist in the laying of foundations and other groundwork tasks
• Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in groundwork or a related field, preferably through an internship
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction
• Valid PTS Sentinel card
• CSCS or CPCS qualification
• Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

The contract will be for approximately 3 months beginning near the end of August, and will be Mon-Fri on days 07:00 – 17:00
