Description

Major organisation in the railway electrification sector requires a Fleet Coordinator on a permanent basis.  

Responsibilities:

  • Act as FORS Practitioner – maintain the fleet management and ensure continued accreditation
  • Liaise with the Assurance and Audit Coordinator when needed
  • Oversee the work carried out by the Fleet Administrator
  • Manage the compliance of drivers in line with company policies and legislation
  • Work with team managers and supervisors to identify possible fatigue issues arising from travel to and from work sites
  • Liaise with commercial team to authorise purchase orders for things such as fleet repairs
  • Liaise with HR team to deal with traffic offences and non-compliance with company policies
  • Assist in the maintenance of P11D
  • Oversee a speedy and efficient process regarding fleet damage, including investigations
  • Be the point of contact for vehicle insurance companies, as well as any PCNS received
  • Manage vehicle requests in a prompt manner
  • Alongside Transport Manager, create road safety and awareness campaigns
  • Assist in the management of the company’s O Licence
  • Provide performance data on fleet and usage

Experience / Requirements:

  • Background dealing with fleet / transportation for an organisation
  • Computer literate
  • Happy travelling to various sites as and when required
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Driving licence
