Electrical Project Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a mid-sized M&E contractor specializing in Education, Commercial, Leisure, and Residential projects with budgets up to £5 million. We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Manager to join our team.

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our projects. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations on-site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
• Managing and providing direction to both direct and subcontracted labor.
• Maintaining excellent communication with clients and main contractors.
• Adhering to and updating the project schedule created by the Contracts Manager.
• Conducting weekly and monthly lookahead assessments.
• Efficiently managing stock and procurement alongside the Contracts Manager.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site.

Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Electrical qualifications in building services construction.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering projects with budgets ranging from £2 million to £5 million.
• Previous experience in managing commercial, residential, or education projects.
• Possession of SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• First Aid certification.

Compensation:

We offer competitive compensation packages to suit your preferences:

Permanent Position: £65,000 – £70,000 annually, inclusive of a car or car allowance.

Freelance Position: £325 – £375 per day.
