Electrical Design Engineer

With an excellent reputation within the high voltage sector, this organisation specialises in the design, installation, operation and maintenance of power distribution networks, chiefly focused on renewable energy.  Accredited as an Independent Connections Provider (ICP), they work on projects between 11kV and 132kV.

Due to an increase in work, they require an HV Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement. The HV Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of power distribution systems (mainly at 11kV, 33kV and 132kV),  including control and protection and grid integration.  

Previous experience as an HV Design Engineer or Protection Design Engineer is preferred,  Applications are welcome from those with a background in new connections design or LV / building services design, who are looking to further their career with a busy, friendly company that provides excellent training and encourages career development.  A degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) is required.
