Primarily based at our Edmonton Green and Stepney Green campuses in London, with
occasional travel to other delivery regions including Bradford and Birmingham.

About the Role:
We are looking for a persuasive, target-driven Employer and Learner Engagement Manager to
build relationships with employers, referral partners and community organisations, recruit
learners onto our programmes and secure employment opportunities for unemployed adults
across our delivery regions.
This is a varied and flexible multi-region role with London serving as the primary base. The
majority of your time will be spent supporting our London contracts and operations; however,
you will also be expected to support other regions as required, particularly Bradford and
Birmingham.
For over 25 years, CECOS College London has helped people transform their lives through

seeking an individual who can generate employer demand, build referral networks and support
learner recruitment across multiple contracts and regions.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, responsive to changing priorities and comfortable
working across employer engagement, learner recruitment and partnership development
activities.
You will operate in a role similar to a recruiter and business development professional,
promoting both candidates and the training that helps make them productive and work-ready
from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure employment opportunities by engaging and influencing employers to recruit our learners.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers across a range of sectors.
- Recruit unemployed adults onto training and employment programmes.
- Develop referral partnerships with Jobcentre Plus, housing associations, charities, community groups and local organisations.
- Promote CECOS training programmes to employers, partners and prospective learners.
- Achieve monthly targets relating to learner recruitment, employer engagement and employment outcomes.
- Deliver presentations and promotional activities both in person and online.
- Support delivery across London and other CECOS regions as required.
- Provide flexible support across multiple contracts, campuses and regions in line with organisational priorities.
- Travel to other CECOS delivery locations as required to support recruitment, employer engagement and partnership activities.
- Work closely with delivery and compliance teams to ensure smooth learner progression.
- Maintain accurate records and provide concise performance reports.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, sales, business development or a similar target-driven role.
- Proven track record of achieving KPIs and performance targets.
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond positively to changing business needs and priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel to different CECOS delivery locations when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience within the employability, skills, education or training sector.
- Understanding of barriers faced by unemployed adults.
