Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established nursing home service based in Calow, Chesterfield

Salary: £42,271.64 per annum

Full Time – 35 Hours per Week

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and professional leader with strong clinical, operational, and compliance experience within health and social care.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care and support services while maintaining full compliance with relevant legislation and CQC standards.

You will lead and manage nursing and care teams to ensure excellent outcomes for residents, families, commissioners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the operational management of the nursing home

Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care

Lead, support, and develop nursing and care staff, teams

Manage recruitment, staffing levels, rotas, supervisions, and appraisals

Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards

Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management processes are effective

Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and professionals

Monitor service performance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives

Respond effectively to incidents, complaints, and operational challenges

Essential Requirements

RGN or RMN qualification with current NMC registration

Previous management experience within a health and social care setting

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and person-centred care standards

Experience leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills

Experience with rota management, workforce planning, and staff development

Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Desirable

Experience managing a service rated “Good” or “Outstanding” by CQC

Experience reporting on contractual compliance

Understanding of learning disabilities and complex care needs
