The Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Learning and Development Coordinator to support the delivery and coordination of training and development activities across Cardo Group.

Working closely with managers, employees, and external training providers, you will help ensure our people have access to the training, knowledge, and skills they need to succeed in their roles. You will play a key role in coordinating training programmes, maintaining accurate records, monitoring compliance, and supporting the continuous development of our workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, a passion for employee development, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule training courses, workshops, inductions, and development programmes across the business.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external training providers to arrange training sessions, venues, resources, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate training records, employee learning histories, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor mandatory training requirements and follow up with managers and employees to ensure completion within required timescales.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS), where applicable.
  • Assist in identifying training needs by working with managers and the wider HR team.
  • Support the coordination of apprenticeships, qualifications, professional development, and other learning initiatives.
  • Track training attendance, completion rates, and feedback to help measure the effectiveness of learning activities.
  • Prepare training reports and provide regular updates on compliance, upcoming courses, and outstanding learning requirements.
  • Manage training-related communications, including course invitations, reminders, joining instructions, and completion confirmations.
  • Support the development and improvement of learning resources, processes, and training materials.
  • Ensure training activities are delivered efficiently and align with business requirements and relevant compliance standards.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in a Learning and Development, training administration, or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience using a Learning Management System or maintaining training databases would be advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine interest in learning, employee development, and helping people reach their potential.

What We Will Provide

  • Excellent development and progression opportunities.
  • 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays.
  • Range of Salary Sacrifice Schemes, including holiday purchase, EV schemes and AVC pension contributions.
  • Life Assurance cover.
  • Wellbeing resources and counselling services.
