Bookkeeper

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in the hospitality and catering industry. This permanent, full-time position based in the City of London will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of our organisation. Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets
• Support the payroll process by maintaining employee records
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation

Qualifications:

• A-levels or equivalent qualification in finance or accounting preferred
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) is an advantage
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
