About the Role

As a Health & Wellbeing Adviser, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a range of health assessments and primary care services. You’ll coach individuals to make positive lifestyle changes, provide expert health advice, and support our customers through their wellbeing journey – from assessment to action.

You’ll be the person who helps them make brave decisions about their health and gives them the tools, encouragement, and knowledge to follow through.

Key Responsibilities

Lifestyle Advice & Health Promotion

Use a coaching approach to have open, honest conversations about lifestyle changes

Promote healthier living in line with clinical policy and guidelines

Deliver tailored lifestyle advice based on assessment results and health goals

Offer and conduct follow-up coaching calls post-assessment

Clinical Duties

Perform health assessment tests and explain clinical results clearly

Identify risk factors and guide customers on how to reduce them

Refer to GPs when appropriate and ensure accurate clinical recording

Deliver primary care appointments following standard procedures

Customer Experience

Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the health assessment

Guide and empower customers to take control of their health

Keep them informed, engaged, and supported throughout

Act on feedback and continuously seek ways to improve their experience

Operational Support

Manage supplies efficiently and support revenue/profitability initiatives

Plan and prioritise your workload to match the appointments schedule

Promote other services where relevant (e.g. musculoskeletal, dental, GP)

Support health adviser community and participate in CPD and promotional events

Who We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

A vocational qualification in a health, fitness, or medical field or

A degree in exercise physiology, nutrition, health sciences, or nursing equivalent

Experience delivering health/lifestyle advice (e.g. fitness, nutrition, smoking cessation)

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in relation to health & lifestyle

Confident using MS Office and clinical systems

Previous experience in a customer-facing, 1:1 environment

Skills & Attributes:

Empathetic and a strong communicator – you know how to really listen

Skilled at interpreting health data and turning it into actionable advice

Detail-focused and accurate in recording clinical information

Able to prioritise and manage time effectively

A team player who knows when to take the lead or refer to clinical colleagues
