School Cleaning Operative

WE have great opportunity to join our cleaning team.

We have a PERMANENT cleaning position availble that will take place in SHERBORNE- DT9 5EP

Schedule- Monday – Friday

Time- 3.30PM-6.15PM

13 Hours 45 MINUTES per week

Pay £12.75 per hour (annulised pay)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures

Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently

Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within specified timeframes

Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times

Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly

Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet their specific cleaning requirements

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided

Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between sites

Good command of English, both spoken and written, to understand instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients

Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond politely and professionally to client requests

Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently within a team environment
