Summary:

The Quality Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Based in Leeds, Yorkshire, this permanent full-time position is essential for maintaining our reputation for excellence in the manufacturing and production industry. The successful candidate will lead quality assurance initiatives, implement best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in quality assurance tools and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
