Summary
We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Installer (or a motivated trainee) to join our dynamic team in the UK. You’ll be installing our bespoke triple-glazed timber and aluminium-clad windows and doors in exciting projects across the UK. Around 50% of the role involves working away from home during the week. When working away there is an away rate pay increase on top of the base rate shown, and accommodation and allowances provided.
You’ll work as part of a skilled, supportive team, learning the latest installation techniques to achieve outstanding airtightness, thermal performance, and customer satisfaction. Most of the projects we work on are custom and self build homes.
Responsibilities
- Install high-performance windows and doors according to project specifications and safety standards nationwide.
- Remove existing windows and doors using hand and power tools.
- Delivering airtight, weathertight installations that improve energy efficiency.
- Identifying and resolving any issues to deliver an excellent finished installation.
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the quality inspection of completed installations.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Joinery skills with experience fitting windows and doors
- Proven experience in window and door installation or related construction roles.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of construction schematics is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness to handle installation tasks.
- Full Uk driving license.
Desirable:
- Joinery qualification
- CSCS, PASMA. MTC
- Bench or onsite joinery experience
Trainees: If you have a solid foundation in joinery or construction work and the right attitude, we’ll support your development with training and mentoring.
