Join a values-led charity supporting adults with complex needs to live safely, confidently, and well across the North West and Midlands.
We Change Lives is a charity that supports people in the North West and Midlands with complex needs, including those with learning and physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, mental health issues, dementia and older people.
Our purpose is to help people lead their lives in a purposeful, healthy and enjoyable way, as full and equal members of their local community. We do this by providing residential homes and supported living schemes, as well as other forms of support for individuals in the community. We’re a thriving, ambitious organisation with big plans to grow, so we can support even more people across the UK to live life on their terms.
On top of great benefits and excellent career development, we have an incredibly warm, team-focused atmosphere. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to enrich the lives of the people in our teams, and making sure they have everything they need to provide the best possible care to the people we support. These things, and the opportunity to change lives for a living, all make for an incredibly rewarding career.
As a charity, we do what we can to show our teams we value them and the life-changing work they do. So, on top of your agreed salary, we offer the following benefits.
Receive £50 after the first shift, and £200 after successfully passing probation (6 months)
We’ll cover qualification costs, and reward you with a bonus for your efforts
Access up to 80% of your pay right after your shift (no more waiting for payday!)
If you refer a friend to come and work for us too, you’ll get a £200 bonus
Allocated Christmas hours will be rewarded with double-time pay
There are many things that we look for in new team members. You’ll need to be eager to learn new skills and you’ll need the ability to develop relationships with colleagues, the people we support and their families. We have roles available for people of all experience levels, whether you’ve been in the industry for years or you’re just beginning your care career.
But, ultimately, we’re looking for people who care. We need people who share our values and want to make a difference. We are a values-based organisation who put the people we support first, and want people who feel the same.
