The official charity of the Bristol Bears. We use the power of rugby to help tackle the impacts of inequality by inspiring healthier, stronger and more connected communities across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.

At Bristol Bears Foundation, we believe rugby is more than just a game. It’s our way to create lasting change. Our strategy, Beyond the Bear, is built on using rugby to help tackle the impacts of inequality by inspiring healthier, stronger, and more connected communities.

Our strategy organises our work across four key focus areas: Health and Wellbeing, Education and Skills, Access & Inclusion, and Community Rugby. Through targeted, needs-led programmes, we will help people lead healthier lives, provide the tools for brighter futures, bring communities together, and strengthen the foundations of our sport in the region.
