Description

Are you a mechanically minded technician who loves solving problems, working on heavy equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service? If you’ve worked with hydraulics, heavy machinery, mobile equipment, or field service and you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same—we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for a motivated Service & Support Technician to join Attach2, supporting customers across New South Wales.

This is a critical customer-facing role focused on servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing Attach2 excavator attachments. You’ll become the trusted technical expert for our customers, ensuring their equipment is operating safely, reliably and with minimal downtime.

Success in this role depends on your ability to diagnose problems quickly, deliver high-quality workmanship, communicate professionally with customers, and take ownership of every job from start to finish.

About Attach2

We’re Australasia’s leading provider of excavator attachments—supporting industries including construction, mining, quarrying, civil infrastructure and demolition. When our customers need support, they need it done right and done fast. That’s where you come in.

At Attach2, we’re in the business of transforming the construction landscape. We don’t just manufacture excavator attachments—we help our customers maximize productivity, reduce downtime, and get the most from their machines. Every attachment we build makes a tangible difference on worksites across Australasia.

Our culture is intense, restless and relentless in the pursuit of excellence. We’re not here for “good enough.” We move fast, solve problems, and continuously look for better ways of doing things. If that sounds like you, keep reading.

What You’ll Do

As our Service & Support Technician, you’ll be the face of Attach2 throughout New South Wales, providing exceptional field service while building strong relationships with our customers. You’ll work closely with our Territory Sales Manager and internal support teams to deliver world-class technical support.

Here’s what your day might look like:

  • Field Service & Repairs Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults, carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance to minimise customer downtime and maximise equipment performance.
  • Machine Fit-ups & Installations Complete new machine installations, hydraulic plumbing, hitch fit-ups, commissioning and pre-delivery inspections to Attach2 quality standards.
  • Customer Support Provide technical advice and practical solutions on-site while building trusted relationships with contractors, hire companies, OEM dealers and workshops.
  • Job & Service Management Plan your daily workload, complete service reports, manage parts requirements and ensure every job is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Quality & Safety Maintain the highest standards of workmanship while following safe work practices and representing the Attach2 brand professionally at every customer site.
  • Continuous Improvement Provide valuable product and customer feedback to help improve our products, processes and customer experience.
  • Bring the Energy Be part of a fast-moving team that thrives on solving problems, delivering outstanding service and exceeding customer expectations.

This Role Is for You If You:

  • Have experience servicing heavy machinery, construction equipment or hydraulic systems.
  • Have strong hydraulic hose, mechanical fitting or mobile plant experience.
  • Enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your work.
  • Are a genuine BAR RAISER—someone who looks for ways to improve, not someone who simply punches the clock.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy diagnosing mechanical issues.
  • Can build strong relationships with customers and communicate professionally.
  • Are organised and capable of managing multiple jobs while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Hold a current driver’s license and are comfortable travelling throughout New South Wales.
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with excavator attachments, OEM equipment, Business Central, HubSpot or within the construction industry.
