Gardener

Summary:

We are on the lookout for a gardener/labourer to join our team on a full-time basis. Experience preferred, however ongoing training will be provided for those self-starters with the right attitude. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure that our gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas are well-maintained and visually appealing. A trial period will apply to ensure you compliment our team and you enjoy the work.

Responsibilities:

• Complete lawn and garden maintenance inlcuding
• Mow and edge lawns
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs
• Apply fertilisers and pesticides as needed
• Install and maintain irrigation systems
• Other additional work may include – Concreting, Retaining Walls, Fencing, Paving & Earthworks
• Maintain equipment and tools
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new outdoor spaces
• Provide excellent customer service to clients

Qualifications:

• Current drivers licence (MR or above a bonus)
• Own vehicle
• Gardening or landscaping experience preferred
• Smart phone
• Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Fully vaccinated
• Ability to operate and maintain garden equipment and tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
